Motion Sensing Security Lights

There have been a series of recalls this week dealing with home and commercial products.  A summary regarding the Motion Sensing Security Lights recall is below.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and HeathCo LLC, of Bowling Green, Kentucky have recalled 7,800 of their Motion-Sensing Security Lights due to electrical shock hazards. The lights, sold exclusively at Home Depot stores from September 2011 through April 2012 for about $30, pose a hazard, as the internal wiring can be damaged during installation, bulb replacement or adjustment. No injuries have been reported yet, but consumers should immediately stop using the light, turn off power to the unit at the circuit breaker or fuse panel, and contact HeathCo for a free replacement light fixture.
