Energizer Rotating Night Lights Recall

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is recalling 260,000 Energizer Rotating Night Lights after learning that the lights can overheat and smoke, causing a possible burn hazard.

No injuries have been reported but Energizer has received nine reports of the lights overheating and three reports of minor property damage. The lights were manufactured in China and sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide from February 2010 through July 2012 for about $6.

The recall affects Energizer rotating lights marked with model number “NLPLROT.”  Those who have purchased the lights should immediately stop using them and unplug the recalled night lights. Customers should also contact Energizer for instructions on returning the night lights for a $7 coupon towards the purchase of an Energizer product.

If you have purchased a product and suspect that the product poses health or safety hazards, contact Khorrami, LLP for a confidential consultation.
