Somersault Snack Co. Recalls Sea Salt

Somersault Snack Co., LLC, a food company based in San Francisco, California, has recalled 418 cases of their Somersaults Pacific Sea Salt after discovering a packaging error.

Unknowingly, the company mixed their Somersaults Santa Fe Salsa flavored product in packages labeled as Somersaults Pacific Sea Salt.  The Santa Fe Salsa product includes milk, an ingredient that is  not listed on the Sea Salt package.  Milk is a major food allergen and can cause severe allergic reactions to those who are allergic to the dairy product. Somersault Snack Co., LLC, a food company based in San Francisco, California, has recalled 418 cases of their Somersaults Pacific Sea Salt after discovering a packaging error.

The affected product was distributed nationwide and comes in 6-oz containers with a sell-by date of MAR1113 and UPC number 8-98403-00201-7. No illnesses have been reported due to the mispackaging but consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a refund.
