Sam’s Club Cinnamon Streusel Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

Sam’s Club Chunky Cinnamon Streusel has been recalled after discovering the product may contain undeclared milk and soy allergens.

Dawn Food Products, Inc., the maker of the cinnamon streusel, is recalling 251 buckets of the streusel mix. The product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of soy and milk allergens and can pose a serious threat to those with severe or specific type allergies to milk and soy products.

The product was distributed from July 23, 2012 to September 7, 2012 in Sam’s Club distribution centers in California, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah and Wyoming. The product can be identified with the following lot codes on the lower left corner of the label:

No illnesses have been reported but consumers who have purchased Sam’s Club Chunky Cinnamon Streusel are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
