Fitness Anywhere Suspension Trainer Devices Recalled Due to Fall Hazard

Fitness Anywhere LLC, of California, is recalling their after they received hundreds of reports of the training devices breaking and causing users to fall.

The Fitness Anywhere Suspension Trainer Devices are used to build strength, flexibility, core stability and power when used during exercise. The strap length-adjustment buckles can break, posing a fall hazard. A total of 570 reports of the straps breaking, 82 reports of users falling, and 13 reports of head, face, shoulder and hip injuries have been reported.

Fitness Anywhere Suspension Trainer Devices were sold nationwide at health and fitness stores and online at http://www.FitnessAnywhere.com from January 2006 through December 2009 for about $150 to $200. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Fitness Anywhere to arrange to return the recalled product for a replacement TRX Suspension Trainer device.
