Infant High Chairs and Swings Recalled due to Strangulation Hazard

Dream On Me Inc. is recalling two of their products due to possible strangulation risks to infants. The company is recalling their Bistro High Chairs and Happy Infant Swings after a design error on both products can cause a safety hazard to young infants.

More than 500 units of the Happy Infant Swings are affected by this recall while only 90 Bistro High Chairs are affected. Both products were sold online at from October 2010 through September 2012. The tray and seat bottoms on both products can allow a child’s body to pass through and become entrapped at the neck, posing a strangulation hazard to young children if the belt is not engaged.

No injuries or incidents have been reported yet. Consumers should stop using the recalled products immediately and contact the company for a replacement product.

If you have purchased a product and suspect that the product poses health or safety hazards, contact Khorrami, LLP for a confidential consultation.
